Ready.... set....

The house is just about ready and I think we're just about ready as well.  Not sure how much this is going to turn my life upside down but I'll let you all know as the weeks go on...

In the meantime we've had the photographer come over and take pictures and the house looked amazing... The pictures should arrive tonight so I'll be getting all excited about that then!  Yesterday was an RDO for me - we spent the morning getting the house ready for the photographer and then I spent the afternoon pressure cleaning the driveway so it looks spic and span for open house on Saturday.  It took me 4 hours.  But it looks great.

We put up our for sale sign last night.  It has my new prepaid mobile number on it.  I tried to forward the calls from my prepaid SIM to my regular phone.  It doesn't work.  I guess I'll be carrying around a few phones until we get this all sorted out.

I really hope that someone comes to look at the house on the weekend and makes us a reasonable offer for it.  I really hope I'm not still writing about this process in a blog 18 months from now.

By the way - I used a leaf blower for the first time yesterday - what an amazing contraption.  I think I'll be using it every Saturday morning for the foreseeable future!  I do understand why people risk pissing their neighbours off to use them... worth every filthy look I reckon!
